The number of military personnel infected by COVID-19 in Operation Laser is now at 39. They are always prepared to go to the most dangerous places and put their lives on the line. Behind that are their families and once again, Together We Stand is there for them. “Families are a big part of all of it,” said the charity’s CEO Rick Seymour. Supporting the mental health of military families

Anne, an Army spouse, was looking forward to her family finally being together again this summer after two years of being separated due to her husband’s deployment orders and geo-baching. But COVID-19 has thrown them for a loop, creating sleep challenges for her, behavioral challenges for her children, and leaving her husband missing home. Right now, in the military community, this isn’t an unfamiliar story. Sure, many are coping well during the global pandemic as we’ve had years of training that prepared us for the fear and unpredictability that many civilians are experiencing for the first time. But others are ... Read more

Fauci ‘Emasculated’ Medical System by Supporting Lockdowns

Lockdowns have caused enough damage to America and it is time for freedom to return to the land of the free, two Republican legislators said in pushing back against health expert Dr. Anthony Fauci’s opposition to reopening the nation. In an Op-Ed written for USA Today, Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky and Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona chided Fauci — the longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases — for his tunnel vision and ivory tower approach. “As much as we respect Dr. Anthony Fauci’s service to our country and medical opinion, we disagree that his ... Barack Obama Laments Michael Jordan Not Supporting Democratic Political Causes

Former President Barack Obama said he was upset that NBA legend Michael Jordan didn’t use his fame to engage in Democrat political activism during his historic run with the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s. The six-time NBA champion has largely avoided social commentary and political activism throughout his very public life and career. Unlike many of today’s NBA players, Jordan apparently knew he was at his best when draining shots and dunking on his on-court adversaries. Still, the basketball legend’s penchant for letting his talent speak for him wasn’t good enough for Obama, who said he wished Jordan would have ... Read more
