Accused of Developing Secret Nuclear, Iran Call Israel Searching for Reasons for War
Iran has rejected allegations by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Tehran has developed nuclear weapons at a secret site. Instead, Iran said that Israel’s accusations were merely the reasons sought for war.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in his tweet Monday (9/9) said that Israel only wants war, does not care about blood and those who are innocent. In addition he said, “The real nuclear owner cried wolf.”
Earlier, a statement emerged from Netanyahu who said that Tehran had developed nuclear weapons at a secret site located in Abadeh, Iran. But he said the facility had been destroyed when Iran learned that the site had been exposed.
Netanyahu said, the site was obtained from his intelligence. The live broadcast was broadcast on television which featured a report which also at the same time showed photographic images of the alleged site. Netanyahu accused Iran of conducting research related to the development of nuclear weapons at the site.
While Tehran argued the nuclear program they developed was only intended for peaceful purposes.
On the other hand, some time ago, Zarif briefly made a statement that there was a “B-team” formed in order to launch a conflict with Tehran. The B-team referred to according to Zarif has members consisting of national security advisers to US President Donald Trump John Bolton, Netanyahu and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
