How Does A Comedy Writer Know They Are Writing Something Funny?

Film Courage: We had this comment come in from [Youtube subscriber] Milli Purpose “How do you know people will laugh or share the same humor as you?”

Todd Berger, Co-Writer of The Happytime Murders: I mean you never know when people are going to find funny what you find funny. And you never know when they’re going to laugh at what you laugh at. But sometimes I don’t care.

To me I’m just trying to do something that I think is funny and I hope with fingers crossed that other people are going to find it funny too.
