It’s been well over a year since the last installment of “proudly elitist gay Jewish liberal native New Yorker piece of shit snowflake” Billy Eichner’s magnum opus Billy On The Street, which has now liberated itself from the confines of television to become a pure web series. And he has an important question to ask New Yorkers: “Miss, our democracy is crumbling—wanna say hello to Emma Stone?”
In the first new episode below, Eichner and Stone run around Manhattan asking people to convince the actress to get onto Instagram. Watch as Stone gets confused for Emma Watson, they debate the importance of Boomerangs with strangers, they meet the world’s biggest La La Land fan, and best of all, they run into a woman casually eating shrimp on the street.

Eichner, along with Funny Or Die and Lyft Entertainment, have revived the show as an eight-episode short-form web series; other upcoming guests include Lin-Manuel Miranda, Tiffany Haddish, and Kate McKinnon.
Eichner said in a statement, “I’m back to heal the country…and the world! After five seasons of the TV series, I knew I wanted to set the show aside in order to create some time in my schedule to pursue other projects. Now that those are taking shape, I’m truly thrilled we’ve found a way to bring Billy on the Street back that makes so much sense for this particular show. As we all know, this is a very divisive, anxiety-ridden time and I hope these new segments — featuring the most stunning roster of guests we’ve ever had — give people a small burst of joy in their timelines while allowing me to comment on culture and the world at large in the unique way this show allows me to.”
