The distributor TOHO has launched a new promotional trailer for My Hero Academia The Movie: Two Heroes, the animated film based on the successful manga of Kôhei Horikoshi.

The video brings news about the film, as a preview of the main theme of the same with the song “Long Hope Philia”, piece performed by Masaki Suda and whose lyrics have been written and composed by Hiromu Akita of amazarashi.

The premiere of the film will take place at the Anime Expo on July 5, being released in Japanese cinemas on August 3.

This new video from My Hero Academia The Movie: Two Heroes brings news about the cast of characters that will appear in the film.

It’s about three new characters: David Shield, Melissa Shield and Wolfram, who will be played by dubbing actors Katsuhisa Namase, Mirai Shida and Rikiya Koyama.

For what has been revealed of them, Melissa is a girl without sense whom Deku knows in I-Island, and his father David was friend of All Might in his youth.

David is a scientist who makes items of support for heroes, while Melissa works hard to follow in his footsteps. Wolfram is a leader of a mysterious team of villains that aims to overthrow the Society of Heroes.

The film will offer a completely original story to the manga, having this place after the end of the second season and the beginning of the third, which will be released this summer.

After receiving an invitation, Deku, All Might and company will travel to the floating island of “I Island”, an island where researchers from all over the world work.

Deku will meet Melissa, a girl who does not have Alter … One of the attractions of the animated film is that you can see All Might for the first time when he was young.
