The curious case of Sen. Rand Paul

Everybody is inquisitive about the case of Senator Rand Paul. This matter has become a burning topic for the media. All of a sudden, hell broke loose over him. He was accused for a dispute over landscaping by none other than Rene Boucher, his neighbor in Kentucky. The initial scenario began when Senator Rand Paul stepped off his riding lawn mower, he was violently attacked by his neighbor and beat the crap out of him. Sadly, he was so brutally beaten that by the end of fists and fights he had five, out of twenty-four , badly broken ribs. To add more to his his pain, he had bruises on his lungs. The anger issues of his neighbor must be on fire because it needs immense power (and hatred) to fracture ribs. For now, lets believe that US Senator Rand Paul got his ribs broken for the sake of some offensively planted saplings. Not only me, but a number of media persons, journalists, writers, reporters and bloggers are pondering over this “awkward” case to end up with some sane explanations. Let’s stick to the idea that this action story has a number of missing parts which need to be placed accurately to get the big picture. Some other possible explanations that pop in my mind include contested property line as well as political dilemmas  because there must be some concrete strong reason as to why Rene Boucher attacked his neighbor with zero leniency. Foul and loud discussions, which are not too sober, could have done the work. But beating someone till his bones are fractured, well that is the scariest part.

Politics is an ugly game. Yes, and we all agree to that. Boucher serves as a democrat whereas Rand Paul has always stayed close to President Trump. An interesting fact delivered by the Lawyer of Boucher to NBS is that both, Rand Paul and Rene Boucher, worked together when they were practicing physicians. Interesting, no? Taking this interest further, NBC claims that both these neighbors had not spoken to each other for the several years. Whereas, upon contact, a neighbor informed the Washington Post that the two neighbors usually had frenzy discussions about about health care. Seriously? All they had to talk about being health care?

When almost everyone had the same thought that this thrashing took place due to political clashes and not because of flora offense, there came Rene’s lawyer, Mr. Baker’s statement where he repudiated all the notions which linked politics and the fight. He told Times ” The incident has absolutely nothing to do with either’s politics or political agendas. It was a very regrettable dispute between two neighbors over a matter that most people would regard as trivial.”

What we can conclude about both neighbors is that they are absolutely no cool-minded next door people. Who could have thought that a democrat and a senator would be so grumpy and certainly not so welcoming. We cannot jump to the conclusion that “Democrat vs Senator” who is stranger because I think it is a fact that if someone, out of nowhere, attacks you from behind while you are demounting a lawn mower, you are obviously destined to lose.

A member of their gated community told Times “They just couldn’t get along. I think it had very little to do with Democrat or Republican politics. I think it was a neighbor-to-neighbor thing. They just both had strong opinions, and a little different one about what property rights mean. Paul certainly believes in stronger property rights than exist in America.”

Since Rand Paul was severely injured therefore Rene Boucher was charged with fourth degree assault. Paul reported that he had five broken ribs, three displaced fractures and bruises to his lungs. Three Kentucky Republicans anonymously informed the Times that Senator was embarrassed  by the incident.
