His way of thinking and subjects retain a journal-like freedom. The exhibit shows a strong personal affection by his impressive language of painting that elaborates and conveys to the viewers.

Aura Gallery was founded in 2000 and currently works with international, emerging, and established Chinese artists; the latter mostly discovered by founder Zhang MingFang. It has worked on various programs that focus on intercultural and painterly-based approaches in a variety of media including oil painting, Chinese ink painting, photography, calligraphy, and sculpture. The gallery is also considered a pioneer of Chinese contemporary arts, and has successfully placed works in a variety of private and public collections. It relocated in Beijing in 2009 and in 2014 took up a second location in Taipei. It is operated by partner Huang Yaji. Over the past 16 years, the gallery has continued its tradition of commissioning new scholarships and creating innovative trends in Chinese Contemporary art scene.
