All the pent-up rage and disgust felt by law enforcement officers who feel they are treated second best by liberal politicians burst forth in a video released by an officer for whom the assassination of New York City Police Officer Miosotis Familia was the last straw.

Familia was shot and killed July 5 while sitting in a police vehicle. Hours later, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio left town to protest against President Donald Trump in Germany. Although Familia’s funeral drew thousands of police officers and their families, it was marred by a teen who loudly played N.W.A.’s F–k Tha Police as the funeral took place across the street from his apartment.

Martin Green, who has been identified as a federal law enforcement officer, spoke for many in law enforcement in a video posted to Facebook that has gone viral.

“You got a New York police officer, mother of three, out there, sitting in gang-infested precinct, sitting there in a high-visibility post to deter crime…and this coward walks up and shoots her right in the head. That’s a victim,” he said, calling for more attention to the crime.

“Where the hell are all the celebrities now?” he said, noting the absence of high-profile mourners for Familia. “Where are all the sports teams wearing NYPD shirts? Where are the ‘hands up, don’t shoot’ people? Where are you right now?”

Green noted the way society ignores slain officers and lionizes slain criminals.

“Why is it that every career thug, every career criminal, every piece of garbage, low-life scum of the earth get the attention when they are shot and killed for breaking the law?” he said. “When they are shot and killed by the police they become heroes. They’re families become millionaires.”

In an interview with New York City’s WPIX, Green said he spoke because no one else will.

“When we have a police officer gunned down in the line of duty, there’s no outrage,” he said. “No one is stepping up for the cops, nobody is looking out for the police and they continue to demonize the cops, and that’s an issue as far as I’m concerned.”

Green said groups like Black Lives Matter need to help the police if they want to make communities safer.

“But they need to get, people in these neighborhoods in these high-crime neighborhoods, and they need to start getting as aggravated as the police, saying why are these people terrorizing our neighborhoods,” he said.

His bottom line was that despite what the liberal media might say, the police are on the side of the people.

“The police are out there for everyone. We are not out there for ourselves,” he told WPIX. “It’s a selfless job. It’s a thankless job. We are out there to make a difference, we are out there to help them out.
