Reuters: White House says Trump administration open to additional strikes on Syria

US President Donald Trump ordered a massive military strike on a Syrian air base on April 6 in retaliation for a “barbaric” chemical attack he blamed on President Bashar al-Assad. The US military fired dozens of cruise missiles at the Shayrat Airfield at 8:45 pm Eastern Time (0000 GMT), officials said.

U.S. President Donald Trump is open to authorizing additional strikes on Syria if the use of chemical weapons continues in the country, the White House said on April 10.
