Poroshenko says war in Donbas kills 2,608 Ukrainian soldiers

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that since the beginning of the Russian aggression, 2,608 Ukrainian troops were killed, 2,200 of them – from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“A total of 2,608 Ukrainian soldiers were killed during the aggression. Some 2,200 of them – from the staff of the Armed Forces,” the president said, speaking at the operational meeting of the Armed Fores of Ukraine in Kyiv on Feb. 22.
