AmazonBlack Friday and Cyber Monday may be a recent memory, but there are still many deals to be had.
Sonos, who discounted their PLAY 1 speaker this past weekend, has upped the ante by putting all of their speakers on sale.
This is great news for previous Sonos buyers who want to expand their collection of speakers, while also lowering the barrier to entry for new customers.
It's a flat $30 discount, which will make more of an impact when buying a PLAY 1 speaker than a Sonos Soundbar. That said, Sonos rarely discounts their products at all, so it's a rare opportunity to save a few bucks.
If you're new to the world of Sonos, here's a little primer of what each of these speakers are.
The PLAY 1 is Sonos most basic speaker, it's a mono speaker that can be paired with another Play 1 to create a stereo image. One step up is the PLAY 3 speaker. It can be used as a standalone stereo speaker when placed horizontally, or a mono speaker when placed vertically.
Connect two vertical Play 3 speakers for an even better stereo speaker system than the pair of PLAY 1s. The same goes for the Play 5, which can be paired with another to create a true stereo soundstage in either the vertical or horizontal orientation.
Sonos speakers are pricey, but the benefit is that you can build a system with them over time. If you buy a speaker every six months, you could end up with a well-covered home in a couple of years. The other big benefit is that their speakers are all wireless — no need to string cables between them, or snake them up through your walls.
